ZIPPO

Zippo Manufacturing Company of Bradford, PA has marketed thousands of different lighter styles and designs for the past 9 decades. Zippo lighters have been sold around the world and are described as a “legendary and distinct symbol of America.”

CHALLENGE

To introduce Zippo lighters to a new market in India, and create awareness of the Zippo brand, Zippo needed to supply fully packed displays to 200 stores quickly. The timeline was very tight — requiring high graphic displays to be on site for Zippo to pack in 2 weeks.

SOLUTION

Due to the timeline challenges, conventional corrugated printing methods were not an option. BCI was able to produce the required display in a digitally printed option very quickly to meet Zippo’s packout timeline.

RESULTS

Zippo was able to meet the customers goal of launching the product into 200 stores, while displaying Zippo’s fuel, butane, flints, wicks and a top graphics panel to elevate Zippo’s retail presence at the front of the store. This would also lead to a full launch in 5,000 stores.
