Since our humble beginnings in 1958, BCI has grown tremendously, both in size and in service. This growth has never been more evident than within the past two decades. With great leadership and an even greater team of people, BCI has expanded our capabilities to offer more to our customers while building our reputation for always putting them first. The secret to our success is that we don’t just build boxes – we build relationships – with our customers, with each other, and with our communities.
That may seem like an odd quote for a corrugated packaging company, but hear us out. At BCI, we know that our people create the real value of any business. They’re the creators – the ones providing quality products and services. We’re proudly employee owned and have built a culture of trust where our team of over 850 employee-owners is given a license to lead, empowered to offer solutions and own the results.
In the past decade, many things have changed in the corrugated packaging industry. Sustainability has become a priority. Online shopping has significantly increased the demand for corrugated products. BCI had two choices to respond to these changes: adapt or keep up the status quo. We chose to not only adapt, but to evolve.
We acquired high-performing, high-quality facilities. We attracted the best talent to be employee-owners. And we continued to build on our ability to offer services others in our industry either won’t or can’t. When others say no, BCI says, “Absolutely, we’ll do it.” And we’ll do it better than anyone else.
