IPC South needed to streamline packaging for two product lines. For burial boxes, the goal was to reduce four SKUs to one master carton for consistent stacking. For pet carriers, a new carton had to fit two across on a pallet with no overhang and stack 12 high efficiently.
Through testing and design refinement, BCI developed master cartons with back-folding features to fit all product sizes within a consistent pallet footprint. Burial box SKUs were cut from four to one, and pet carrier cartons were resized to stack two down, 12 high — boosting storage and shipping efficiency.
The changes enhanced warehouse efficiency, streamlined inventory, and improved buying power for IPC South and VetOne.
