BCI set out to create one of the tallest and most visually impactful structures in the showcase while proving that corrugated can perform far beyond standard packaging applications. The challenge required engineering a large-scale vertical structure that could maintain stability, visual precision, and clean assembly at an oversized scale.
The project also needed to demonstrate BCI’s ability to integrate structural design, printing, and assembly into a cohesive, brand-ready display solution.
BCI’s design and engineering teams developed the slot machine using 1,429 square feet of corrugated board and 93 precision-engineered components. Through advanced structural design, precision die-cutting, and large-format printing, the team created a full-scale, high-impact display that balanced size, durability, and visual appeal.
The project showcased BCI’s ability to manage oversized builds with the same operational discipline and manufacturing precision used in customer packaging and display programs. From concept through assembly, the slot machine demonstrated BCI’s expertise in transforming corrugated into experiential and branded environments.

Standing 14 feet tall, the Giant Corrugated Slot Machine became one of the most photographed and talked-about installations at BCI’s Reno Grand Opening and Innovation Showcase. Its scale and visual impact demonstrated how corrugated can be engineered into oversized branded experiences that command attention and drive engagement.
For customers, the project serves as proof that corrugated can be used to create far more than packaging — it can become a centerpiece for retail activations, event marketing, promotional displays, and custom-branded environments designed to leave a lasting impression.
