Amid a full renovation of their warehouse and distribution center, Altar’d State needed a custom bin system to streamline inventory staging and picking — but their metal racking system had not yet been installed. Any solution had to be structurally sound, compatible with unknown final specs, and delivered quickly, all while improving operational efficiency.
BCI’s sales, design, and production teams collaborated closely with the client to develop a fully custom racking bin solution. Using raw engineering drawings from Altar’d State, BCI created bins capable of holding 15 units per rack and supporting the required load. The bins were designed and produced ahead of rack installation to ensure a seamless fit.
The new bin system gave Altar’d State’s fulfillment team a smarter way to manage inventory. With barcoded bins assigned to specific SKUs and locations, warehouse staff can now scan, pick, and ship with dramatically increased speed and accuracy — accelerating operations without sacrificing control.
