Summary
The Digital Production Associate will support, operate, and maintain key functions within the digital finishing and production department. The Digital Production Associate is a mechanically inclined, dependable team member working in a climate-controlled, collaborative production environment. This person assists with large-format digital printing, Zund table cutting, and material handling to ensure smooth operations within the corrugated manufacturing facility.
Shift: 3rd Shift 8:30pm-7:00am; Monday – Thursday. Initial 2-month training will be 1st shift (Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:00pm)
Compensation: Competitive pay with Quarterly Bonus plan
Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks related to this position may vary and are not limited to those listed below:
Operate and maintain digital production equipment, including the Durst 2500 digital printer and Zund cutting tables
Perform start-of-shift procedures such as powering up machines, purging the printer, wiping printheads, and reviewing the production lineup
Interpret factory tickets and organize workflow to ensure efficient shift execution
Utilize production software including Amtech, ZundCAD, and Durst programs to execute and track jobs
Operate a tow motor to transport materials across departments (must meet licensing requirements)
Support production tasks including hand gluing and product assembly as needed
Manage material scrapping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all established safety rules, regulations, and best practices
Adhere to ISO policies and procedures in alignment with the company’s Quality Policy
Work independently to meet shift goals and respond to mechanical or workflow issues as they arise
Skill Set:
Demonstrates adaptability and a self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn new processes and technologies
Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
Proficient in using production-related software and digital interfaces
Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and communicate effectively
Capable of working independently and following both verbal and written instructions
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
Qualifications Desired:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety standards
