Position Purpose:

Create display and packaging designs for corrugated point-of-purchase displays. Work with internal and external sales teams to determine client’s packaging needs and provide solutions supporting development and growth through innovation, efficiency and creative packaging design.

Work Schedule: 

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Work independently as well as within a Structural Design Team supporting our sales staff providing design solutions based on customer specific needs and requirements.
  • Independently manage project load while providing feedback to Team Leader.
  • Use 2D and 3D conceptualization techniques in Artios Cad.
  • Cut qualifying and prototype samples for customer approval.
  • Generate detailed display specifications (including material, production info, multi-outs, etc.).
  • At times, work collaboratively with a team of designers to also provide a competitive advantage to the sales organization in the product design space.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet short deadlines.

Desired Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of Artios CAD software.
  • Highly detail-oriented and focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency, discipline, accountability, judgment, initiative and critical thinking skills to positively contribute to the company.
  • College Degree in Engineering or Packaging Science related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for die cutting, production tooling design, finishing 
  • processes and graphics layout.
  • Working knowledge of paperboard substrates.
  • Usage of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience operating a sample cutting table is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
